After a year off to get my Bachelor of Education degree, I am now employed as a teacher at Oak and Orca Bioregional School.

From April 7th to August 15th, 2003, I was the Environmental Education Coordinator at the Douglas College Institute of Urban Ecology! The Institute is an organization dedicated to improving urban biodiversity (nature in the city) and they're run out of Douglas College in New Westminster. My job had many responsibilities including teaching a variety of workshops (building bird boxes and bat boxes, backyard habitat, etc), editing the newsletter, helping with plantings, and organizing the Greenlinks 2003 art exhibit / educational display.

During my 2002/2003 job search, I volunteered with both The Land Conservancy of BC and Better Environmentally Sound Transportation.

My Eco Ed and Aquarium pages detail my past work experiences.

Eco Ed: My environmental education job, September 2001-June 2002.

Aquarium: My experience as a naturalist at the Vancouver Aquarium, May 2000-September 2001.
